Dear Mr Sampson,

Re: Bad customer service

Thank you for your email regarding the bad customer service on 3rd May 2016. I want to start off by saying that myself and the other staff members are sorry for any inconvenience that was caused when you were visiting us. We know that there is absolutely no excuse for the way the staff member has spoken to you.

We have taken action towards this and given the staff member a warning and also further training in customer service. I assure you next time you visit our store our staff will be more welcoming towards you and make your visit pleasant. We have included a $50 voucher which can be spent in any of our department stores all of Auckland.

Once again we are sorry for the inconvenience that occurred when you were in our store. We hope this letter helps you with any other inquiries you may have had.

Thanks,
Rebecca Smith

  1. Great start! You have done an amazing job with structuring your paragraphs. The information that you give is accurate and clear about what's happening and it's also very organized. You have used polite and professional tone, which fits the purpose of the letter and the audience very well. All your punctuation, spelling, and grammar is correct. Well done!

  2. She has got a good use of the format and had included the correct content and used the correct context. The meaning is correct and she has followed the meaning and made it clear and relevant. I think everything is very formal and it fits well together. From what I can see all the grammar, punctuation and spelling were correct.
