Art Board 1 2020
For the start of board one I have started on 5 pieces so far. Each of them aren't finished and still need touch ups and need to be finished. My board is based on my cultural and bringing it out through my Nostalgia as childhood hence why there is cartoon characters. I wanted to show importance and meaning into my art board this year.
These are my first two sketches which are on Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse. The background are going to be painted in patterns and colours that represent them as well. The sketches on there body /outfits are from my grandads bone carvings green stones he has created.
These landscape sketches are from my Maunga and my awa. These are both my mountain and river that is being shown as a sketch itself.
These two are basically the same as the top few sketches but there have been painted and also are incorporating the background into as well. I took the top few sketches and made it one. I still have to paint the background as well and do all touch ups.
My next progress or blog post will be showing theses pieces here all finished and tidied up completely.

ReplyDeleteThese are going to work nicely as a series of work. Combined with your thumbnail sketches and some reference points from your 2.1 (which needs completing) that will be the evidence required for 2.2.
