Art 2018

Art 2018

This year in Art we started of with free drawing so Miss Clemence could see what we could do if we came up with drawing by ourselves. Once we had finished a period on that, when then learnt about shading in shapes and how to make it 3d. For our third period cut out some pictures in a magazine and drew that. Last week we drew some pictures of birds and doing the detail and scale right.

Slave Trade Triangle Map

Slave Trade Triangle Map

The Slave Trade Triangle is three different points. The first passage is were they get the guns and sell them for Slaves, the slaves are Women, Men and Children. The second passage is were the slaves are taken to the USA and are auctioned to pick Cotton and Tobacco. They get beaten or whipped if they don't pick enough Cotton or Tobacco. For the third passage they put the cotton and tobacco onto the ship. They then take it to Europe and sell it for guns and weapons. Finally they go back to Africa and sell the guns for Slaves and it just repeats.

Cooking Blog Reflection

Blog Reflection

Key things we did as a group:
-Had everything cut properly and were used on the proper boards.
-We made sure we had all the right amount of the ingredients we used.
-Our hair was all tied back and we had no loose things on that could spread bacteria.
Changes that are going to be made next period:
Going to make sure we read the instructions properly, from reading which ingredients we need and when to add them. Also making sure everything is cooked properly.
Observation about Appearance:
It was presented in just a bowl. The colours looked okay because of the coloured vegetables we had used. It looked good but it didn't taste good.

Human Rights Poster

Human Rights Posters

I have chosen these five Humans Rights which are Having food and shelter, The right to education, Having right to life, Having your own right to Privacy, Right to a nationality and The right to own your own things. I feel like having food and shelter is important because they are key things to life, which also comes with having the right to live. Being able to have an education is important if your wanting to get a job. Owning your own things and having privacy can also come under the same thing, they are important because having something to yourself they you don't want to share with others.
