Our second action plan was to make a few posters to hang around our school. They will have our info on how to contact us to join an Environmental group inside or outside of school.

First action taken

Our first action was to make a form it contained five questions, which got sent out to all the year nines. We were meant to write down questions on a piece of paper to go interview a few students and some teachers. We wanted to ask for opinions and thoughts.

We will need to talk to a few of the teachers and students to see if they are willing to help join an environmental group.	Being able to go out of class and discuss with teachers and students. Teachers having time to talk to my group and i.	All the teachers from being busy and not having any time to talk to us. We could go talk to the principal and office people for help. We will need to have a meeting with mr rogers and maybe survey to students in year 9nd out	Being able to get ahold of mr rogers and maybe a little time out of class to arrange things. We contact Lincoln university and ecan to make bigger progress also move up more steps.	EMail as we learned most companies liked to be emailed. My group name is Fiji, the people in my group are Savannah, Jesy and I. The topic my group and I chose was Water Pollution. Most of the websites we have used have just been googled so ones like, History on Water Pollution. The issue we have chosen is Water Pollution, which is the Chemicals in the Rivers, Ocean and etc. and the plastic that goes into the water that damages the animals and kills many. The action we will be doing is getting a hold of Lincoln Uni and Ecan to discuss how we can let people know what the chemicals and plastic bags are doing. We also want to get a hold of some company's to try and make more people use cotton bags or paper bags instead of plastic ones. The Impact will mean that less plastic will be in the Ocean and not harming the animals.

William had came up with an idea that would be try ship the frozen meats to London from New Zealand. 

William said hat New Zealand had to much meat that anybody could eat so he had to find away

 of getting rid of it or keep throwing it away. William and Thomas Brydone did not invent the 

mechanized refrigerator they had just borrowed it. William and Thomas had worked in a 
team by the communication mostly, but also they had jobs each to take care of
and get done. Something that was good was that eventually they made it to London
and the eat was still good enough to sell and a fair price. I i had been a passenger
I wouldn't have cancelled my ticket unless I new something bad was going to happen to
otherwise it would've been normal sort of.

In Social Studies we watched and also read a story about Maui. It was interesting to get like an old idea of what Maoris thought was true. They could learn how Maoris people have rough ideas of what happened. Also how everything is planned out.

Traditionally, the day began early,with prayers and singing to worship the rising sun.	The daily life of the community was based around getting food, so most people spent their days in activities such as...	Planting and attending to crops in communal garden.	Fishing or gathering seafood.
Hunting moa other birds or seals.	Children adults work alongside each other and chiefs work with their people.	The first meal of the day was around mid-morning. As the sun began to set, workers returned to the village and food was prepared and eat together.	The rest of the evening was spent in game and conversations, sometimes there were prayer to setting the sun, once it was dark people generally went to sleep.

We stared school on Monday 1/05/2017. The night before I was fine about having to waking up early and going to school. I'm at school now and its been fine. My class's have gone well, we have just been blogging and sorting out our learning environment.

About in week 4, we started reading a book called Abomination. It was really interesting. Its about a little girl called Martha Dewhurst, she was lonely and different to the other kids. She had a huge family secret she couldn't let anybody know. But she knew that eventually the truth would come out. Martha got bullied, had no friends but one day a new boy Scott came to the school. The way her life was limited her to things.

Opinion

When I read the back of the book, I didn't think I was going to like it or get into it. Once I read a few chapters I started to like it. The story line was great and how it ended. I would recommend it to people.

In English as a way of introducing ourselves to our new teacher we made a soundtrack of our life. Which involved picking songs that would mean something to us or out family members/friends.
